Information

The courses begin at around 5pm of the first day and end around midday to give students the possibility to arrive and depart on the same dates. The yoga lessons are usually in the morning from 8am to 11am and in the afternoon from 5pm to 7pm. The language of instruction is English. You will be practising standing, sitting and inverted, as well as restful and restorative postures. Everyone will work within his or her own capability. After the morning class a hearty brunch of mainly organic and regional products is provided (except October weekend). In the evenings we eat out at local restaurants. Please let us know if you need a special diet.

The school provides single or double en-suite accommodation in an old monastery which is situated directly in the historic town centre. The fee for food and accommodation must be paid in cash on arrival. Please ask us for a revised price if you do not need the accommodation. The price for the yoga course can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.

Spello is a Roman fortress town in Umbria on the doorstep of Assisi, with excellent views of Foligno and towards Perugia. Spello’s pleasant and lively historic centre is ideal for shopping, strolling around or having a coffee or aperitivo in one of the many bars or a snack in one of the small delis. Many art works can be seen in its museums, churches and ancient palazzi. Spello is a convenient starting point to explore the Umbria region, its capital Perugia, the city of Assisi and the adjacent region of Le Marche. A car is not necessary: Spello is a small town and you can walk to most places.
