Yoga

We will be practising standing, sitting and inverted, as well as restful and restorative postures. Everyone will work within his or her own capability. You will be able to build up a strong foundation for your own practice. The language of instruction is English.

Cefalù

Cefalù is a charming town on the northern coast of Sicily, about an hour from Palermo and Capo d’Orlando. Cefalù also boasts one of Sicily’s finest beaches, a picturesque fishing port and a medieval quarter with narrow cobbled streets. The town is dominated by a rocky promontory that rises to 270 metres and is one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.

Accommodation and Yoga Space

Collegio di Maria, an ancient convent, is a unique place to stay in Cefalù. It is dating back to the 15th century and is located in very prominent position in the historic centre directly facing a small beach and a pier. Today, the convent has been renovated and offers comfortable rooms with sea views and terraces and balconies overlooking the sea and the town. All rooms are clean, spacious and many of them have spectacular sea views. All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms. The yoga lessons will take place either in a spacious hall with sea views or on the roof terrace which offers 360° views.

Cost

The yoga course costs €350. The cost for the food (4 brunches, 2 dinners) and a giuded walk with access to the castle is €120. The accommodation based on you arriving on the 27th of December and leaving on the 2nd of January in a double room used as a single room is €330 and in a shared double €210 per person. It is possible to arrive in the convent before the course starts or stay on after it finishes.
